The Cannery
The Cannery is New Orleans’ Premier Wedding and Special Events venue, located in the heard of Mid-City. Just two blocks off the streetcar line and Bayou St. John, The Cannery is a multi-purpose venue offering 12,000 square feet of modern, unique space that can be customized for your next occasion! Our large open floor plan allows our staff to customize the rooms according to your creativity and vision.
The Cannery was built between 1965-1970 and was the warehouse space for the American Can Company until it’s closure in 1988. After the closure, the site sat dormant until the Pel Hughes Companies purchased the warehouse in 1997 to open a new location for their growing print company. After renovation, The Cannery opened in 2012.
