Chef Marlon Alexander grew up in Belmont Shores, California where he attended Long Beach Wilson High School. He discovered cooking at an early age and his big personality (and stature – standing at 6’4″) is reflected by his bold, honest, and vibrant dishes.
Having graduated from the California Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts program in 2006, he joined Le Parc Suite Hotel in West Hollywood as chef de cuisine. He then moved to The Hotel Bel-Air where he worked as the chef for banquets for a year. During his time there he gained the prestigious Mobile Five Star and the AAA Five Diamond Award and ranked highly with Zagat.
In 2007 he founded ‘BupyStyle Events’ a catering and event company in Los Angeles, California. Chef Marlon soon became a culinary celebrity among the A-listers in Hollywood. Impressing the likes of Rod Stewart, KISS, Eddie Murphy, Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith, Christina Aguilera, and more. In 2008 he added the role of private chef to his resume, working for a member of the royal family in Kuwait for 2-years. His experience has led him to work for countless celebrities, power couples, politicians, royalty, and wall street tycoons.
Choosing to work with local, organic farms, Chef Marlon believes in producing natural, great tasting food. His extensive travel has resulted in his own inimitable style of cooking, developed to tantalize any palate. His menu is flavorsome and healthy – combining classic French techniques with southern soul. His charismatic and charming demeanor, and ability to produce award-winning cuisine has earned him local, national, and international respect and attention.
Aaron Jura’s experience in the hospitality industry has included time working with luxury brands and boutique hoteliers with national and international property holdings. Besides being extremely organized and detailed, Aaron excels at making a guest feel special.
Implementing 5-star service standards, Aaron has worked as a consultant to improve the customer service and guest experience of hotel properties, luxury brands, spas, and salons nationwide. His experience with Joie de Vivre hospitality and other luxury firms helped to inspire his unparalleled management style and focus on providing the ultimate guest experience.
Following a distinguished career in hospitality, Aaron went on to attend law school and work in finance. His organizational abilities and hands-on management style ensure that every intricate detail of your special event will be attended to. Aaron knows how stressful event planning and execution can be, and he takes pride in thinking ahead to ensure that every Mangé event is spectacular.
